I'd been hearing from a lot of folks how beautiful the ride up the California Coast from Los Angeles to San Diego was, so me, my camera and I packed a light bag along with some of my favorite travel foods, a king size box of junior mints, chewing gum, trail mix and a bag of popcorn, just in case the train broke down or the cafeteria was closed,
I drove on down to Grand Central Station, which was the craziest place I'd seen since living in Los Angeles besides those girls dancing on poles at the club atop of the W Hotel, which is another story, lol.... Nonetheless, I parked my car in hopes that it would be there upon my return, taking pics of the exact spot in the parking lot just in case I forgot my level and section of the garage. I boarded the Amtrack from Los Angeles to San Diego.
This was a first for me as I'd never been on a train and the ride was as beautiful and pleasant as beach goers sometimes waived while the train passed bye. There were many party goers lying along side the beach as the sunset was as gorgeous as a pair of new shoes. I felt like I was away from the world and my normal routine. This trip was all about doing something different, meeting new people and being adventurous.
I learned that sometimes, we should do something different be someone we've never been and step outside of the circle that of which some of us are being held hostage and just live a little because time is precious.
Life is about final destinations and if we never move we will never get to where we were Born to BE!
